New aesthetics in wood-effect surfaces. There just had to be a new interpretation of this material in the 2024 edition in the most authentic fashion, lively and faithful to its essence, for a warm, contemporary presence in every room and context, indoor & outdoor. Lafaenza interprets also the ancient Japanese technique of wood processing, Yakisugi, dating back to the 1300s. At that time, given the absence of advanced treatments, the boards were cleverly charred to make the wood more durable and increase its level of resistance. This is where the cue to create two new ceramic proposals stemmed from: one black, totally charred, and another marked by its brown background and black veins.
